The Cleanse Count page allows you to monitor the number of cleanse requests being generated for each of your licensed postal matcher countries. Monitoring Cleanser calls provides insight into the distribution of your organization’s data quality activity.

Note: If the Cleanse Count page is not available, open the trillium_soapadminconfig.properties file and set the following option to 1:

CLEANSE_COUNT_ENABLE=1

If the option is disabled (set to 0), the page will not display and the cleanse requests per country will not be counted. (See the Administration Home page Property Files tab for the path to the trillium_soapadminconfig.properties file.)

Each time a REST/SOAP cleanse request is processed by the Cleanser, the counter for the appropriate country is incremented by one. The count is displayed on the page and is written to the trillium_country.properties file, located in the ...\Trillium Software\MBSW\17\tsq\Software\apache-tomcat\conf directory.

If the project is stopped or the web server is stopped, the country cleanse count is maintained.

Clicking Export creates a file containing the cleanse count for each country processed, formatted as comma-separated values.

The Settings tab on the Administration Home page includes the following option with which you can customize the Cleanse Count:

  • Cleanse Country Count Field: Determines the text field that identifies the country to be counted. The default is DR_COUNTRY.
