This appendix describes how to enable secure data transfer through Secure Socket Layer (SSL) for use with TS Web Services with TSI. TS Web Services with TSI uses the Apache Tomcat web server and the Java Axis 2 framework for data processing through TS Web Services.
Since the data processing is performed over the web server, a secure web server is required so that the information entered is transmitted without data concerns.
