You can limit the data displayed in the Match Results pane by the number of records in a group or by record contents.

The Match Group Records option allows you to limit the records displayed in the Match Results pane to those with a specified minimum number of records in the match group.

To specify a minimum match group size

  1. In the Match Group Records text box, enter the minimum size of a match group. Groups containing fewer than this number will not be displayed in the Match Results pane.
  2. Click Apply.
  3. Click Default to again display all matching groups.

    The Define Row Filter option allows you to limit the records displayed in the Match Results pane to those containing specified values.

Define a row filter

To define a row filter

  1. Select Define Row Filter and click the Filter icon. The Window Matching Row Filter window opens.
  2. Select whether this will be an ‘and’ or an ‘or’ comparison.
  3. Select data values to be used to filter the results. For example, to limit the data in the Match Results pane to those records containing the names "John" or "Jane" or that include the last name "Nicholson" select the 'or' comparison and enter the following values:

    Value Count

    FIRSTNAME

    LASTNAME

    Value 1

    John

    		  
    Value 2 Jane  
    Value 3   Nicholson

    If you require a more precise filter, you can add rows by clicking New Row.

  4. Click OK.
  5. Click Apply. The results matching the filter criteria are displayed.
  6. Click Default to again display all results.
