When you perform a match, results are categorized as matching at Level 1 or Level 2, the meaning of which differs depending on whether you perform a Consumer or Business match:
- For consumer matches, Level 1 is a household match and Level 2 is an individual match.
- For business matches, Level 1 is a company match and Level 2 is a contact match.
Results are also identified as being Matched (meaning they passed the match criteria) or Suspect matches.
By default, results are displayed with Level 1 Matched records grouped together, identified with blue highlighting.
To change the match results view, select an option in Group View Selection and click Apply.
For example, when using the sample data file Matcher_Window_xml.inp, selecting Level 2 Groups, Matched and clicking Apply displays a view that shows that four of the five records that match at Level 1 (a household match, since this is a Consumer match), also match at Level 2 (an individual match). The columns are rearranged to keep the LEV1_MATCHED column (with groups now identified in green) on the left, with the LEV2_MATCHED rows displayed in blue.
Click Default to again group by Level 1 Matched records.
