Problem
You create a connection to the data source but no queries display in the Data Connection Wizard.
Solution
Ensure the following:
- You have permission to access the files.
- (ODBC only) The properties and connection information for the DSN you are using is accurate. If a value was entered incorrectly then the DSN is invalid.
- Your Trillium License Server Configuration File includes the proper reporting option depending on which reporting adapter you use (for example, license {feature REPORTING OLEDB} 2020-09-24 {}).
Do one of the following:
- On the Trillium server system:
- Navigate to
C:\Program Files\Trillium Software\MBSW\trillium_version\etc
. - Open the
license.txt
file. - Check if it contains one of the following sections:
- license {feature REPORTING ODBC} and a valid date range, such as 2015-11-08 2020-11-08.
- license {feature REPORTING OLEDB} and a valid date range, such as 2015-11-08 2020-11-08.
- Navigate to
- On your client system:
- Log on to the Control Center and the repository you are running the queries against.
- Click the Help icon on the ribbon and select About. The About Trillium Control Center window opens.
- In the Licenses held field, scroll through the list and check if a data reporting license is listed with a valid expiration date.
