When you run the queries and load your data into Excel, you can then aggregate, sort, and filter subsets of data to see different views. Excel allows you to insert various types of charts and graphs to view graphical data relationships.

Note: See the Excel documentation for information on formatting spreadsheets and viewing charts.

The following Trillium repository metadata can be retrieved and imported into Excel:

  • Project, entity, and attribute summary metadata (single run and over time, as available within the repository)

  • Row level data, such as business rule fail rows and business rule group rows

  • Entity and attribute business rule elements and rule results

  • Numerical and statistical analysis, including Mean, Total, Median, and Standard Deviation metadata

  • Analysis data, such as joins, keys, dependencies, and word/phrase analysis

  • Trillium Quality process metadata, such as values and null distribution, uniqueness, top values, and accuracy

Note: Excel has a limit to how many rows and columns it supports. Before you import Trillium metadata into Excel, note the data view limitations of your version of Excel, especially if you plan to extract thousands of rows of data. For example, Excel 2019 and all lower versions, supports a maximum of 1,048,576 rows.
