This appendix describes how to enable single sign-on (SSO) privileges to a SQL Server on a Windows server machine. This allows Trillium users to load data using a secure Trillium-supplied ODBC data connection from a SQL Server into a Trillium DQ repository server on another Windows server machine.
Loader connection security is configured using the Kerberos authentication method.
Note the following guidelines:
-
This configuration applies to Windows Server 2012 and 2012 R2 and requires that you have implemented Windows-authentication for Trillium users. See Users for information about Trillium users.
-
This procedure is valid for Trillium-supplied ODBC loader connections and TSS 17 SQL Server Drivers only.
-
Users must have permissions to access the database on the SQL Server system.
-
Run this procedure for each SQL Server database to which your Trillium users plan on connecting.
