The Navigation View displays the projects, entities, attributes, rows, and library objects in a repository. It displays this information in a collapsible tree structure that groups related information in folders. If you want to view the information in a folder, you must expand the tree downward by double-clicking a folder name. You can click an object in the Navigation View to display details in the List View pane on the right.
These are the basic activities you can perform from the Navigation View:
To view detailed information about an object
- Double-click an item in the Navigation View. Detailed information displays in the List View.
To expand an object in the Navigation View
- Click the plus sign (+) next to the object. The plus sign indicates that there are more objects in the tree to view.
To collapse an object in the Navigation View
- Click the minus sign (-) next to the object.
To collapse all object trees in the Navigation View
- From the Navigation View, right-click any tab and select Collapse
To examine details on Navigation View objects
- Click the object to display its Metadata Summary;
double-click to see related information a List View.Note: If you are unable to drill down, it means that the Navigation View is already showing the most detailed information available.
