You can create new ignore word tables or you can import tables into the Control Center that have already been created. You use ignore words when you run a phrase analysis for an attribute or in the BDP.

Guidelines:
  • When you import a table and add it to an existing table, the imported data is appended to the existing data. Duplicate words and phrases found in the imported table are not added to the existing table.
  • After you add or import a table, you can open it in a List View and modify it as needed.
  • You can export tables for use in other repositories. You can also import tables created in other repositories.
  • There is no limit to the number of ignore word tables you can add.
  • Table files are encoded with 2-byte Universal Character Set (UCS2).
  • Table files are platform dependent; If you create a table on a Windows system, it cannot be exported and used on a UNIX system, and vice versa.
