Trillium analyzes attributes and looks for areas where data may overlap or be duplicated. When such areas are discovered, the attribute becomes a candidate for integration or potential cleansing operations involving merges or joins.

By default, all attributes (field/column) in an entity are included in a join analysis. If the feature has been disabled, you can open the attribute properties and reset it.

Note: Make sure the entity to which the attribute belongs is enabled for inclusion in a join. If the entity is not enabled, no attributes are included. For more information, see Editing an Entity.

To include an attribute in a join

  1. In the Navigation View, expand the entity with which you want to work.
  2. Right-click an attribute and select Edit attribute.

    The Attribute Properties window opens.

  3. In the middle of the window, check Include in Joins.
  4. Click OK.
