When you finish your data analysis and joins remain with a status of discovered, you can delete either the individual joins or the entire join job if these joins are not relevant to further analysis. You can also delete permanent joins when they are no longer valid.

When you delete the join job, the following occurs to the joins associated with the job:

  • Permanent joins are saved in the Permanent Joins folder.
  • Discovered joins are deleted.

Delete a single join

To delete a single join

  1. In the Navigation View, click the Discover bar, and then click the Analysis tab.
  2. Expand Joins.
  3. Right-click Join Analysis Results and select Drill down to All Joins.

    The Join Jobs List View opens.

  4. Right-click the join you want to delete and select Delete.
  5. In the Delete Join window, click Yes.

    The join is removed from the List View.

Delete a join job

To delete a join job

  1. In the Navigation View, click the Discover bar, and then click the Analysis tab.
  2. Expand Joins.
  3. Right-click Join Analysis Results and select Drill down to Join Jobs.

    The Join Jobs List View opens.

  4. Right-click the join job you want to delete and select Delete.
  5. In the Delete Join Job window, click Yes.

    The join job is removed from the List View.
