When you create a business rule, you apply it with a priority. You can modify the association at any time by associating the rule with a different priority. You can also add a new priority and edit an existing priority.

To modify business rule priority associations

  1. Open a List View of the business rules with which you want to work. (See How to View Business Rules.)
  2. Right-click a rule and select Edit rule. The Edit Rule window opens.
  3. To associate the rule with a different priority, click the Priority field and select a value.
  4. To add or edit a priority:
    1. Click the ellipsis button () to the right of the Priority field.
    2. In the Add/Edit Priority window add (create) a new priority, edit a priority, or delete a priority. If you add a priority, when you close the Add/Edit Priority window the new priority will be available in the Priority drop-down list.
    3. Click Close.
  5. In the Edit Rule window, click Finish.
