You can change the focus from a row in a List View to an entity location in the Navigation View. This helps when you need to find the location of a parent entity that contains certain EBRs. It is also a useful shortcut to a Navigation View when you have a large number of entities and EBRs displayed in a List View.
Highlight entities that contain EBRs from an entities List View
To highlight entities that contain EBRs from an entities List View:
- From the Navigation View, click the Discover bar, right-click the
Entities tab, and select Drill down to entities.
A List View of all entities opens.
Note: You can also open an Icon View of all entities. - (Optional) Sort the Business Rules column (ascending or descending) to more easily see which entities have EBRs.
- Right-click a row (or icon) and select Navigate.
The entity location is highlighted in Navigation View, in either the Entities or Library tab.
Highlight entities from an EBR List View
To highlight entities from an EBR List View:
- In Navigation View, right-click an entity.
- Select Business rules > Drill down to entity business rules.
A List View of EBRs contained in the current entity opens.
- Right-click a row and select Manage rules > Navigate > Entity
or Library entity.
The entity location is highlighted in Navigation View, in either the Entities or Library tab.
