The Merge/Split input settings enable you to customize the values that the utility uses when processing the data files. The following list describes the settings that are specific to the Merge/Split utility.
- Select Input: Name of data file you want to split or the list of files you want to merge.
- Start Record: Numeric value that specifies the row in the input data file at which to begin processing. Default is 1.
- Maximum Records: Numeric value that specifies the maximum number of rows to process.
- Sample Every Nth Row: Numeric value that indicates an incremental sample of rows from a file for processing.
- Row Filter: An expression that defines conditions for filtering input rows. See Filtering Rows for more information.
