The Match Key Level settings specify the level of match and the attribute that holds the match key for the Commonizer process. The match key is used to group rows for evaluation and processing. For example, rows that were matched at Level 1 usually have the same LEV1_MATCHED number. If you specified Level 1 and LEV1_MATCHED, only rows with the same match key at Level 1 will be compared and evaluated.

To select match key level

  1. From the Navigation or Project View, right-click the Commonizer process and select Edit Process.
  2. Select the Levels tab.
  3. Select a match key level from the list. Click Add new level or Delete level as needed.
  4. Select the key attribute from the list for the match key. The rows with the same value in this attribute are grouped together for further processing.
  5. Select the survivor attribute from the list. This attribute is used to select the survivor row among the match key level group.
  6. Click Advanced and proceed to Designating Survivor Row or Specifying Common Attributes.
