Coding Accuracy Support System (CASS) is offered by the United States Postal Service (USPS) to all mailers, service bureaus, and software vendors who want to evaluate their address-matching software and improve the quality of their ZIP + 4, CRIS, and five-digit coding accuracy.

For CASS certification of your processed data, the US Postal Matcher process must be run with the DPV, LACSLink , and SuiteLink options enabled.

Note: United States CASS Postal Matcher, DPV, LACSLink , and SuiteLink options are not supported for the Trillium Quality for Big Data project.

To enable CASS mode

  1. In the US Postal Matcher Options window, select the Include DPV Tables check box.
  2. Select the Include LACSLink check box.
  3. Select the CASS Mode Required check box.
Note: The Include SuiteLink Tables check box is automatically selected when you select the CASS option.
  4. Select the Output Postal Form check box and click Settings to specify the postal form settings. The CASS form will only print when these advanced options are specified.
