After running the Postal Matchers, the match level codes are generated to identify specific conditions that occur for each row being processed. The match level codes indicate the accuracy of matches between address data and the appropriate Global Address Verification (GAV) table. The match level codes are written to the xx_gout_match_level (where xx = a two-letter country code such as US, CA, and GB) and ts_match_level attributes. You can review these codes to analyze the postal matcher results.
To analyze the Postal Matcher results
  1. From the Navigation or Project View, expand the xx Postal Matcher process, and then expand the Outputs folder.
  2. Double-click the output entity.

The Data Rows List View displays.

  3. Go to the xx_gout_match_level or ts_match_level attribute and examine the value. See Match Level Codes.
Note: Go to the tq_gout_match_level or ts_match_level attribute for the Custom Postal Matcher and Global Postal Matcher countries.

To analyze the Postal Matcher results for China, Japan, Korea, and Taiwan

The Postal Matchers for China, Japan, Korea, and Taiwan use the Fail Levels instead of Match Level Codes. See Postal Matcher fail levels for details. In addition to the Fail Level codes, those postal matchers for the Asian countries generate specific conditions called review codes and review groups. You can analyze the detailed conditions on how the record was processed by examining the review codes and review groups.

  1. From the Navigation or Project View, expand the xx Postal Matcher process, and then expand the Outputs folder.
  2. Double-click the output entity.

The Data Rows List View displays.

  3. Go to the pr_geocode_fail attribute and examine the value of the fail levels.
  4. Go to the pr_review_code attribute and examine the value of the review code.
  5. Go to the pr_review_group attribute and examine the value of the review group.
