Directory version enables output of country data to be specified; for example, produce output in a specified language, or include accent marks in output. Each country contains its own number. Default is 0. See the applicable country for more information about supported versions.

  • Note for Netherlands: By default, the Custom Postal Matcher for Netherlands accepts input city representations of NEN 5825 Standard, the PTT Convention, and Official Dutch Spelling. It returns the NEN 5825 Standard for both city and street names.
  • Note for France, Luxembourg, Malaysia, Netherlands, and Singapore: Only directory version 0 is valid.
