The Parser Rule Sort utility sorts the words and phrases of a word/pattern table and, optionally, puts the sorted entries into a separate output file.

To run the Parser Rule Sort utility

  1. Launch the Parser Tuner.
  2. Select Parser Rule Sort from the Tools menu. The Parser Sort Rule window opens.
  3. In the Input File field, enter the name and path of the word/pattern table you want to sort. The default value is automatically supplied.
  4. in the Filter field, enter the term you want the utility to search for. For example, if you enter STREET, the utility searches the word/pattern table for every line that contains the word STREET.
  5. (Optional) If you want the sort results to be put into a separate output file, check the Want Output File box and then fill in the Output File field.
  6. Click Run.
