The Server Actions command enables you to run a user-defined script from within Trillium. The implementation of this command is client-specific. Before you can use it, the following tasks must be completed:
- A technical resource at your company must create the script and provide information about it to the repository administrator.
- The repository administrator must add the script to the repository table that displays when you click the Server Actions icon on the Advanced tab.
- The repository administrator or a supervisor must communicate to you how the script is to be used, including any user arguments that you need to supply.
Note: The Server Actions command is disabled if there are no scripts available.
To run a script that has been set up by the repository administrator
- Select Server Actions from the Advanced tab. A list of available scripts displays.
- Double-click the name of the script you want to run. If arguments are required, the interface will prompt you to supply them. Otherwise, the script runs and performs whatever tasks it defines.
- If you need to supply arguments, you are prompted to do so. Enter them as a single string and separate arguments with a comma.
- Click OK.
