The Control Center presents potential keys that it finds in your data. It lists keys in the following ways:

  • List View of key analysis results
  • List View of keys found for a specific entity
  • Summary Data View of key metadata
Note: The metadata for discovered keys does not display if no keys are found.

To open a List View all key jobs in List View

  1. In the Navigation View, click the Discover bar, then click the Analysis tab.
  2. Expand Keys.
  3. Right-click Key Analysis Results and select Drill down to Keys Results.

  4. To open a List View of keys for a specific key job, click the key job name.

To open a List View of keys for a specific entity

  1. In the Navigation View, click the Discover bar, then click the Entities tab.
  2. Right-click an entity and select Drill down to Metadata.

    The Entity List View displays. Note the number of Permanent and Discovered key values.

  3. To see the keys discovered for the selected entity, double-click Discover Keys.

To view key metadata in the Summary Data View

  1. In the Navigation View, click the Discover bar, then click the Entities tab.
  2. Click an entity name.

    The Summary Data View for the selected entity displays.

  3. Click the Relationship Summary tab. Note the number of Permanent and Discovered key values.
  4. To view discovered keys for the selected entity do one of the following:
    • Under Keys, click Discovered
    • Under View Details, click Relationships.

    The Keys List View displays.
