You can display rules that have been created for correcting a dependency conflict. The rules take the form of an IF THEN condition that can be exported and used to derive Quality transformation rules.
To list rules for conflict corrections
-
Open the Dependencies List View or the Dependency Conflicts List View.
Note:
From the Dependencies List View you view all the corrections for different dependencies.
-
Highlight a dependency row that displays conflicts.
-
Right-click and select List Corrections....
The Dependency Corrections List View displays rules that have been created to correct the dependency conflict. The columns are:
-
Determinant—Rules in this column must be True for rules in the Dependent column to be applied, and represent the Left-Hand Side (LHS) of the dependency rule.
-
Dependent—Rules in this column depend on the rules in the Determinant column, and represent the Right-Hand Side (RHS) of the dependency rule.
-
Example
-
For example, in the Account Reps entity there are two values for Aaron R Dillon: Aaron Rob Dillon and Aaron Robert Dillon, and both have the representative Id "Acd". The rules for correcting a conflict where the LHS attribute is Acd, and the RHS attribute is Aaron are: if Acd is equal to RDP (determinant), then the conflict is resolved by correcting Rob to Robert (dependent).
