The Quick Access Toolbar contains frequently used commands that, like the Application menu, apply to the Control Center session. You can customize the toolbar by adding or deleting commands or by repositioning it.
Note the following:
- The Quick Access Toolbar retains all changes and customizations you make during a session. If you make any changes and then close the session, the changes will be available when you begin a new Control Center session.
- When you open a List View or Icon View, the menu items available on the corresponding Command tabs are added to the Quick Access Toolbar drop-down list, and are available until you close the List or Icon View. This allows you to access these options regardless of which Command set tab is active.
You can:

To add or delete commands
- Click the Customize Quick Access Toolbar drop-down and select More
Commands.
The Customize window opens.
- To add a new command, select it from the Commands section and click Add.
- To delete a command, select the command from the selections in the right pane and click Remove.
- Click OK to save your changes.
If you added a new command, it is listed in the Quick Access Toolbar. If you deleted a command, it is removed from the Quick Access Toolbar.
- Click the Customize Quick Access Toolbar drop-down and select More

To customize the order of commands in the Quick Access Toolbar
- Click the Customize Quick Access Toolbar drop-down and select More Commands. The Customize window opens.
- In the right pane, select the command you want to reposition.
- Click the up arrow to move up the command. Conversely, click the down arrow to move it down.
- Click OK to save your changes.

To reposition Quick Access Toolbar
- Click the Customize Quick Access Toolbar drop-down and select the
Show Below the Ribbon option
Alternatively, in the Customize page, select Show Quick Access Toolbar below the ribbon.
- Click OK to save your changes.
- Conversely, if the Toolbar is below the ribbon and you want to reposition it, go to the Customize Quick Access Toolbar and select Show Above the Ribbon. Alternatively, in the Customize page, select Show Quick Access Toolbar above the ribbon.
- Click OK to save your changes.
- Click the Customize Quick Access Toolbar drop-down and select the
Show Below the Ribbon option

Some Control Center tasks are assigned keyboard shortcuts by default. You can customize these shortcuts and create shortcuts for those tasks that have no shortcuts assigned to them.
