The final step is to examine the results of the Relationship Linker. The Relationship Linker process generates a set of output attributes that identifies the match conditions. See Viewing Relationship Linker Results.

To view Relationship Linker results
- Double-click the output of the Relationship Linker process. All rows are displayed in the List View.
- Right-click any column name and select Choose Columns.
- Click Hide All.

From the Hidden fields list, double-click the attributes that contain
match keys and fields to examine. For example, select the following
attributes:
- Lev1 Matched
- Lev2 Matched In Lev1 Matched
- Line 01
- Line 02
- Line 03
- Line 04
- Line 05
Note: Line 01 - Line 05 displays the original data for the row. -
In the List View, look for rows where Lev1 Matched values are the same
and Lev 2 Matched in Lev1 Matched are the same. Matched rows receive the
same values and are grouped together in the List View. A single number without
duplicate means that the row did not match any other row. Those values are called
"match keys."
These two rows are an example of one household with one individual. They have the same Lev1 Match values and the same Lev 2 Matched in Lev1 Matched values.

To examine rows for each household and individual
- Right-click the output of the Relationship Linker process and select Analyze.
- Click the > button to take the highlighted default attributes.
- Click OK.
- Click Run Now.
- When analysis is complete, expand the output entity in the Navigation View.
- Right-click the attribute Lev1 Matched and select Drill down to Metadata. Notice that there are 56 distinct values. This means there are 56 households or companies.
- Double-click Values.

In the List View, double-click the first Lev1 Matched value. This drills
down to show all rows representing the same household or company.

Repeat Step 6 and 7 for Lev2 Matched In Lev1 Matched and examine rows
representing each individual or contact.
Note: You can also view the results in the statistics file in the graphic and text versions.
The Relationship Linker will store the pattern ID for matched and suspect records in the following attributes:
- lev1_matched_ pattern
- lev1_suspect_pattern
- lev2_matched_pattern
- lev2_suspect_pattern
From the pattern IDs in the output, you can obtain the reasons for matches and suspects. See Determining Matches.
