Step 2: Sort Rows by Window Key - trillium_discovery - trillium_quality - 17.2

The next step is to sort the output from the Window Key Generator by the window key. The subsequent Relationship Linker process requires the rows be sorted to perform an effective comparison. See About Sort Utility.

To sort rows by window key

1. From the Navigation or Project View, right-click the Sort for Linking process and select Edit Process.
2. On the Sort Order tab, confirm that the sort is set to be done by WINDOW_KEY_01 in Ascending order with collating sequence ASCII. See Specifying Sort Attribute and Order.

   

3. Run the Sort for Linking process.
4. Right-click the Sort for Linking process and select View > Text Stats File.
5. Verify that all rows were sorted. A SORT KEY SUMMARY is also shown in the stats file.
