The Metadata Summary View contains the following components:
- Summary Category. Summaries are organized into four categories for entities and attributes: Content Summary, Structural Summary, Relationship Summary, Statistical Summary and About. Metadata Summary Views for projects and Quality processes have only one category, Metadata.
- Summary Group. A summary category may contain summary groups depending on the object. They are organized by various properties and metadata such as Schema Properties and Row Properties.
- Summary Item. Summary items show basic metadata related to the objects you select in the Navigation View. Underlined summary items indicate that you can click to display details of metadata or files.
- View Details. The View Details section in the right side contains links to other related metadata such as data rows and business rules. For Quality projects, Shortcuts on the right contains links to the project-related tasks.
- Graphs and charts. Some of the metadata is displayed in bar graphs, pie or whisker charts. You can click the graph or chart to drill down to details depending on the metadata. Some graphs and charts are for display only.
