If you choose to hide a column, it remains hidden only for the period in which the List View remains displayed. The next time you display the same data, all columns are shown. If you want to save the data with hidden columns, you can create a bookmark and thus be able to refer to it as needed.

Hide a Single Column

To hide a single column

  1. In a List View, right-click the column label of the column you want to hide.
  2. Select Hide. The column should no longer be shown in the List View.
    Note: You resize the column by decreasing its width until it is no longer visible.

Hide Multiple Columns

To hide multiple columns

  1. Right-click any column label.
  2. Select Choose Columns…. The Choose Listview Columns window opens.
  3. In Displayed fields, select the names of the columns you want to hide. Use the Ctrl and Shift keys to select multiple fields.
  4. Click Hide.
    Note: If you prefer, you can double-click the column name in Displayed fields, and the column will become hidden.
  5. Repeat Steps 3 and 4 until each column you wish to hide has been moved to the Hidden fields box.
  6. Click OK.

Display only a Single Column

To display only a single column

  1. Right-click any column label.
  2. Select Choose Columns…. The Choose Listview Columns window opens.
  3. Click Hide All.
  4. In Hidden fields, select the name of the column you want to add back to the List View and click Show.
  5. Click OK.
