When you double-click an object in the Navigation View or click a link in a Metadata Summary view, a List View automatically opens. If you double-click a second object in the Navigation View, the List View for that object overwrites the first List View.
To display multiple List Views simultaneously
- On the Home tab, click Windows and then click New Window. A new, empty pane opens.
- With the new pane on top (which makes it the active List View pane), double-click an object in the Navigation View or a link in the Metadata Summary View.
- Repeat steps 1 and 2 for each List View you want to display.
To switch between views
- To activate a different list, click the appropriate tab at the top of the List View pane. Tabs are labeled so you can easily identify the list you want.
To display multiple views at the same time
- Drag the tab label to a different area in the List View pane. If you have two List Views open, the pane is divided into two, enabling you to see both views side-by-side. If you have more than two List Views open, you can further divide the List View. Once you have multiple views displayed, you can resize them by dragging a border.
