The UC modifier is used with POSTCODE to compare two Japanese postcode values. The score varies when all digits agree, the first three digits agree, and blank versus blank. The hyphen will be ignored.
Note: This modifier is effective for Japanese encoding only. When you specified the field type
as ASCII, please use the routine POSTCODE for English.
