BUSINESS? |
058 |
BUS? |
Possible name for a Business or Surname. The BUSINESS? attribute does not force the entire name to Business as does the BUSINESS attribute. Rather it triggers an examination of other attributes in the name to see if the name is Personal. If there is a TTLP and/or GVN-NM1 attribute prior to the BUSINESS? attribute, the name is considered potentially Personal and the BUSINESS? attribute is turned back to an ALPHA. The revised pattern is looked up. If there is no TTLP or GVN-NM1, the BUSINESS? is turned into a BUSINESS and the name is considered a Business name. Or, if there are other BUSINESS attributes in the name, the name will be considered a Business.
Examples: John Plumber where "Plumber" is likely the SURNAME John Plumber INC where "Plumber" is part of the Business name Smith and Sons Plumber where "Plumber" is part of the Business name |
