When the repository administrator created your user account, he assigned you a user name and a password. Depending on company policy, you may be required to change the password after you log in for the first time and again after a fixed number of days. Even if you are not required to change your password, it is a good idea to do so periodically to ensure system security.

Note: This option does not apply if your site is using Windows-authentication for user identification. You cannot change a Windows password from within the Control Center.  Check with your Trillium repository administrator if you are not sure what type of authentication is in place.
Note: Password rules are site-specific. Check with your repository administrator to find out what the password requirements are for your installation.

To change your password

  1. On the Advanced tab, click Change Password. The Change Password window opens.
  2. In the Enter Password field, type your current password.
  3. In the Enter new password field, type the new password you created.
  4. In the Enter new password again field, retype your new password, using the same combination of uppercase and lowercase.
  5. Click OK.

    The next time you log on, you must use your new password.
