During a Control Center session, you can switch users at any time. For example, suppose you were logged into your client machine as one user, but do not have access to the repository you want as that user. Or maybe the Trillium administrator wants to log in to the current Control Center session to change permissions on a project or create a new repository server.
To switch to a different user
-
Click the Application button and select Switch User or Repository. The Control Center logs off the current user and displays the Login window.
-
Enter your Username and Password in the appropriate fields. If you are using Windows authentication for user IDs, you must enter your fully-qualified log in name.
-
(Optional) Select a repository from the drop-down list.
-
Click Login.
You can also change repository servers from the Login window. Click Change Repository Servers (instead of clicking Login) and follow the procedure described in Switching Repository Servers.
Note: If your Repository Administrator selected the Disable access to file system
option for your environment, you will not be prompted to save changes to the
session when switching the user or repository server or when closing the Control
Center.
