You can modify the following properties for a project:

  • Project name
  • Project description
  • Associated entities (Baseline Analysis projects only)
  • Data processing option (Quality projects only)

You can only modify a project's properties if you have full access privileges for that project.

Change a Project Name or Description

To change a project name or description

  1. From the Navigation View, right-click the project you want to rename.
  2. Select Edit Project or Edit Project Details.
  3. In the Edit Project window, edit the Name and Description of the Project.
  4. Click OK.

Add or Remove Entities to/from a Baseline Analysis Project

To add or remove entities to/from a Baseline Analysis project

  1. From the Navigation View, click the Analysis tab, expand Baseline Analysis, and right-click the project to which you want to add (or remove) one or more entities.
  2. Select Edit Project. The Edit Baseline Analysis window opens.
  3. Place a check beside the entities you want to add. Remove checks from entities you want removed from the project.
  4. Click OK.
Note: Removing an entity from a project does not delete the entity from the repository. It only removes the entity from the project you are editing

Change the Data Processing Option for a Quality Project

To change the data processing option for a Quality project

  1. From the Navigation View, click the Projects tab on the Develop bar and right-click the project you want to modify.
  2. Select Edit Project. The Edit Quality Project Details window opens.
  3. Select the data processing option you want to apply to this Quality project:
    • If disk space usage is a consideration, set the Minimize disk space option to compress intermediate output files.
    • To run the project without compression, set the Maximize performance option.

After you change this option, you are prompted to run the project to activate the changes.

Note: See Minimize Disk Space and Maximize Performance for more information about how data compression works in the Control Center.
