If your repository contains entities that are outdated or no longer required, it is good practice to delete them.
To delete an entity
-
Remove any connections the entity has to projects or processes:
- Baseline Analysis. Edit the project to remove the entity you want to delete.
- TS Quality. Remove the entity as the input to a process within a project.
- Time Series Analysis. You delete Time Series entities from the Time Series project, unless the project has been deleted. For information, see Deleting Time Series Entities.
- Join Projects. Edit the project to remove the entity you want to delete.
-
Locate the entity you want to delete by doing one of the following in the Navigation View:
- Double-click the Entities tab. The Icon View populates with a list of entities in this repository.
- From the Entities tab, select an entity.
- Right-click and select Delete. If this option is grayed out, the entity is contained in a project, and must be removed from the project before you can delete it.
-
When the confirmation box opens, click Yes.
