During the data import process, Trillium translates your data files into three repository objects: entities, attributes, and rows.
To verify a new entity
-
Click the Entities tab on the Discover bar and ensure there is an entry in the Navigation View for the data file you imported.
-
Expand the entity and ensure that there is an attribute for each column in your source data.
Note: For COBOL copybooks, the attribute names are taken from the copybook.
-
Double-click the entity name to display its rows in List View.
- Make sure that you have one entity row for every data row imported.
- Check the alignment of data to ensure that it is not being spread across attributes.
