Time Series projects show trends in data compliance. The trends are based on a series of entities, each representing a different iteration of the source data. Depending on how you defined the Time Series project, the next entity may be generated automatically or manually.
You can use this procedure to "force" the generation of a new entity in a Time Series project that is set up for automated updates.
Note the following:
- If you change the location of the data source by editing the loader connection in the Repository Manager, the data loaded into subsequent entity generations will reflect the updated data source.
- Automation Interval settings are not reset when you generate the next entity; they remain unchanged until you modify them.
- Generate the next entity at either the project or entity level.
