After you create a Baseline Analysis project, open the project to begin your work from the following views:

  • In an Icon View of the entities associated with the project.
  • In a List View of the entities associated with the project.
  • In a Summary Data View that displays the project properties and basic metadata, such as when the project was created and the number of rows in project entities.

To open a Baseline Analysis project Icon View

  1. In the Navigation View, click the Discover bar, then click the Analysis tab.
  2. Expand Baseline Analysis.
  3. Right-click the project name and select Open.

  4. Right-click an icon to view a menu of the tasks you can perform. For example, you can drill down to List Views of rows, entity metadata, attributes, derived metadata rules, and EBRs.

To open a Baseline Analysis project List View

  1. In the Navigation View, click the Discover bar, then click the Analysis tab.
  2. Expand Baseline Analysis.
  3. Right-click the project name and select Open in list view.

    The Baseline Analysis Project Entities List View opens.

  4. Right-click a row to view a menu of the tasks you can perform. For example, drill down to List Views of entity metadata and attributes, navigate to the entity in the Entities tab, copy entity metadata to a new entity, and export entity rows.

To open Baseline Analysis project Summary Data View

  1. In the Navigation View, click the Discover bar, then click the Analysis tab.
  2. Expand Baseline Analysis.
  3. Click a project name.

    The Summary Data View displays for the selected project. The Project Properties tab is shown by default. (If the view does not open, click the Metadata Summaries icon on the Home tab.)

  4. Click Control Metadata and Entity Row Count to see more project information.
