If you already know how many fields and columns (attributes) of data exist in the original data source, you may need to verify that the total number of attributes imported matches what you expect. The total number of attributes represents all attributes created for that entity upon data load.
Attribute information is located in an entity's Entity List View, which you open from the Navigation or Summary Data View.
To find the total number of attributes for an entity from the Navigation View
- In the Navigation View, click the Entities tab.
- Right-click the entity with which you want to work and select Drill down to metadata.
The Entity List View opens.
- Find the Attributes row. The number in the Value column is the total number of attributes in the entity. To see a List View of the attributes, right-click the Attributes row and select Drill down to attributes.
To find the total number of attributes for an entity from the Summary Data View
- In the Navigation View, click the Entities tab.
- Click the entity with which you want to work.
The Summary Data View opens for the selected entity.
- Click the About tab, expand Source Properties, anIdentifying the Number of Attributes in an Entityd note the Attribute Count. To open a List View of the attributes, click Attribute Count.
