Any dependency conflicts found during dependency creation are shown in a Dependency Conflicts List View. If a dependency is 100% correct, this status is indicated in the Quality % column and the dependency will not be displayed in a dependency conflicts list.
To explore conflicting values
-
From a Dependencies List View, double-click any dependency with a Quality % less than 100%.
The Dependency Conflicts List View displays and shows the right-hand-side (RHS) attribute values for each left-hand-side (LHS) attribute value, and the frequency they occur.
-
Do one of the following:
- Highlight multiple conflicts, right click, and select Drill down to All Conflicting Rows for Selection to view all rows for the selected LHS values.
- Right-click one or more conflicts that share the same LHS attribute value, and select Drill down to Selected Rows to view rows in the selected LHS value set only.
-
To resolve dependency conflicts, drill down to the actual data rows that contain the conflict. If needed, reorder the columns to see conflicting dependency attributes side-by-side.
