Copying Library Rules - trillium_discovery - trillium_quality - 17.2

To copy multiple library EBRs to an entity

1. In the Navigation View, click the Library tab, and expand Business Rules > Entity Business Rules.
2. Double-click the entity that contains the rules you want to copy.

   The Library Rules Detail View window displays all EBRs in the entity.

3. Select the rules you want to copy. Right-click and select Copy rules to entity.(You can also copy one rule at a time by right-clicking the rule in the Navigation View and selecting Copy rules to entity.)

   The Copy Library Rules window opens.

4. Select an entity to copy to, and click Next.

   The Copy Rules window displays.

5. Clicking the [...] button, select real attributes to map with all library attributes.
6. Click Finish to copy the rule and its associations.
7. To confirm the rule was successfully copied, open the Business Rules List View for the target real entity and verify the rules display.

To copy multiple library ABRs to an attribute

1. In the Navigation View, click the Library tab, and expand Business Rules > Attribute Business Rules.
2. Double-click the library attribute that contains the rules you want to copy.

   The Library Rules Detail View window displays all ABRs in the attribute.

3. Select the rules you want to copy. Right-click and select Copy rules to attribute. (You can also copy one rule at a time by right-clicking the rule in Navigation View and selecting Copy rule to attribute.)

   The Copy Attribute Rule window opens.

4. Select an entity.
5. In the Copy rule(s) to Attributes section, select one or more attributes.
6. Click Finish to copy the rule.
7. To confirm the rule was successfully copied, open the Business Rules List View for the target real attribute and verify the rules display.
