From the Library tab you can create new ABRs to be stored in a specific library attribute.
Note:
- ABRs in one library attribute cannot be used in other library attributes.
- You must have Create privileges on the library attribute in which you want to
create an ABR.
To create a library ABR for a specific attribute
-
From the Library tab, expand Business Rules
<
Attribute Business Rules.
-
Right-click the attribute in which you want the ABR to be created, and select
Add Rule.
The Add Rule Expression Builder opens.
-
Construct the business rule expression (for details, see Creating Attribute Business Rules).
-
Click Impact.
A list of real entities and attributes associated with the current library
attribute displays. (If the list is empty, the attribute carries no associations.)
Any listed objects will be affected by the rule creation; by default, the rule
will be associated with the same objects as its parent attribute.
-
(Optional) Select Disassociate check boxes only if you want the current
library attribute (and all rules in the attribute) to be disassociated from the
selected attributes/entities.
-
Click Finish.
-
Refresh the Navigation View.
The rule displays under the library attribute.
