Trillium gives you the ability to investigate and verify the quality of your data in your data source against established corporate standards, best practices, and other compliance requirements that have an impact on your business.
Investigate data compliance in the following ways:
- Create customized business rules at the attribute and entity level.
- View business rule compliance results for all attributes in an entity and one or more entities in a repository.
- Group and store reusable rules in the Business Rules Library. This allows you to consistently manage and share rules across attributes and entities and to export rules as XML files to use in multiple repositories.
- Run a business rule search using criteria such as user-defined category and subcategory metadata, rule creator, priority, type of rule, and rule name and description.
- Copy compliance standards to use in another load of data.
You can also add, edit, and run entity business rules using the Discovery Center application. For more information, see Working with the Discovery Center.
Note: For HDFS entities (data sources), data profiling activities including running business
rule analysis is supported in Discovery Center only.
