When your enterprise data is loaded (imported) into the Control Center, an initial data analysis occurs. You then use the metadata discovered during the analysis to:
- Identify data structure and content
- Investigate data compliance and analyze data relationships
- Store, reuse, and share compliance standards as business rules
- Track, document, and share your project and data profiling activities
- Create Baseline Analysis projects to organize and manage your analysis diagnostic work
- Create Join Projects to view and work with N-way joins in a graphic flow
- Create Time Series Analysis projects to monitor compliance trends for a data source over time
All discovery and data analysis is accessible from the Discover bar in the Control Center Navigation View. Information about your metadata is also accessible from the Summary Data Views. Click the links below for more information about Discover functionality:
