Note: The Transformer Address Reconstruction process is integrated with the Transformer Label Lines process and no longer used in the current version. If your previously created projects include the Transformer Address Reconstruction process, you can continue to use it.

When a name and address project is created, the Transformer Address Reconstruction process is included at the end of the project. This process reconstructs name and addresses from the outputs of the Customer Data Parser and Postal Matcher to generate properly formatted name and address labels.

The default rules that are used for the Transformer Address Reconstruction process can be viewed and edited under the Output Conditionals tab. The conditionals are displayed, and buttons allow you to view and edit the associated attribute scans and table recodes.

To modify the default reconstruction rules

  1. From the Navigation or Project View, right-click the Transformer Address Reconstruction process and select Edit Process. You can also double-click the process to open it for editing.
  2. Select the Output Conditionals tab. The default conditionals settings are displayed in the Output Conditionals section window. You can modify or specify the following settings from this window:

It may be necessary to edit the rules if the Parser inputs that were used do not correspond to the default inputs that were expected. For example, the default rules for the United Kingdom assume that the Parser inputs consist of INPUT_LINE_01 through INPUT_LINE_09. If the actual inputs differ from this – for example, if you have fewer than 9 lines, or if you have sub-fields on a line (INPUT_LINE_01a and INPUT_LINE_01b instead of INPUT_LINE_01) – then you need to modify the rules. The default rules for the United States assume that the Parser inputs consist of INPUT_LINE_01 through INPUT_LINE_05.
