The Set Selection input settings enable you to customize the values that the utility uses to select records. The following table describes the input settings that are specific to the Set Selection utility.
Setting | Description |
---|---|
Min no of rows per set, for set to be processed | Numeric value that specifies that each selected set must contain at least this many rows. For example, if it is set to 2, then every set will contain 2 or more rows. |
Max no of rows per set, for set to be processed | Numeric value that specifies that none of the selected sets will contain more than this many rows. For example, if it is set to 10 then sets with 11 or more rows will be excluded. |
Max no of sets to be processed | Numeric value that limits the total number of key sets to process. |
Max no of rows to process per set | Specifies the maximum number of total rows to process. |
Match key value at which to start processing | Specifies the 8-digit numeric match key value (for example, 00000013) that indicates the set at which processing should start. |
Increment sample of sets to process | Numeric value that determines every nth set selected. For example, if set to 3 then every 3rd set will be selected. |
Start record |
Numeric value that specifies the row in the input data file at which to begin processing. Default is 1. |
Sample every nth row |
Numeric value that indicates an incremental sample of rows from a file for processing. |
Row filter |
An expression that defines conditions for filtering input rows. For more information, see Filtering Rows with Expression Builder. Note: The aggregate Set Selection functions cannot be used for input row
filters, only for input conditionals and Attribute Transformation.
