The Customer Data Parser (CDP) process identifies and standardizes name and address data elements. It is run after the initial Transformer process in a typical name and address project. Specifying Parser inputs during project creation is optional; however, you must specify parser inputs before the Customer Data Parser process can be run.
Guidelines
- Specify a maximum of ten (10) name and address lines to be used as Parser inputs.
- The CDP allows a maximum of 100 characters for each line. If the data length is greater than 100, then it will be cut off at 100.
- In a multi-country Name and Address project with multiple Parsers, you can do the
following:
- Specify the Parser inputs during project creation and have these settings be propagated to each country-specific, post-Router Transformer.
- Specify different Parser inputs for each country by editing the Transformer process that precedes it.
