After processing, you can display the following files to review the results:

  • Control File
    • TSD file - Contains the process settings used internally by the Control Center. This file is read-only and you cannot edit it manually from the Control Center.
    • STX file - Contains the process settings generated at run-time. This file is read-only and you cannot edit it manually from the Control Center. It can be used for troubleshooting purposes.
Note: The STX file is generated from the TSD file at run-time and therefore is empty if the process has never been run. If a process has never been run, the option to view the STX file is disabled. If the settings have been modified but the process has not been rerun, the STX file will contain the old settings.
  • Log File - Shows when the process started and finished.
  • Error File - Shows details of a failed process.
  • Graphical Statistics FileUsing a Graphical Statistics File - Shows the number of records processed and other statistics associated with the process in an interactive graphical format. This file is available for the following processes:
    • Business Data Parser
    • Commonizer
    • Customer Data Parser
    • Geocoder
    • Global Data Router
    • Postal Matchers
    • Reference Matcher
    • Relationship Linker
    • Transformer
    • Window Key Generator
  • Text Statistics File - Shows the number of records processed and other statistics associated with the process in text format.
  • Parser Customization Statistics File - Shows parsing customization statistics for the Customer Data Parser or Business Data Parser.
  • Postal Form - This postal certification report is provided when the Postal Forms option is specified in the AU, CA, or US Postal Matchers. For US, a CASS summary report is generated when running in CASS mode. For Canada and Australia, an Address Accuracy Statement is generated. These forms detail the address matching output and are submitted to respective postal services with the output file.
  • Postal Matcher Rules Log - Contains details of any errors that were found in the Custom Postal Matcher rules file. This file is generated if you have specified user-defined rules and selected the Requires Rules Log File option on the Advanced Rules tab.
  • Router Rules Echo File - Contains all the statements in the Global Data Router rules files that have errors. This file is generated if you have checked the Output Rules Echo File option on the Output Settings tab and there are errors in the rules files.
Note: As a best practice, run one process at a time, checking the results and tuning the settings if necessary before moving on to the next process.
