Specifying ACE Postal Matcher Advanced Options - trillium_discovery - trillium_quality - 17.2

You can optimize the results of the ACE Postal Matcher by specifying the advanced options.

To specify ACE Postal Matcher advanced options  

1. From the Postal Matcher Options window, click Advanced. The ACE Process Settings window opens.
2. If you want to obtain the most recent address information for the input address, select Get New Address. This option is selected by default.
3. Select one of the options from the Processing Mode drop-down list to specify how the Postal Matcher processes input.

   Option	Description
   Address string and postal code	Uses the address string as primary input and the postal code as secondary input.
   Postal code and address	Uses the postal code as primary input and the address string as secondary input.
   Address code and address	Uses the address code as primary input and the address string as secondary input.

4. Select one of the Output Options from the drop-down list.

   Output options if new address is selected in step 2.

   • Bar code and new address master data (default)
   • New address master data (Do not obtain bar code)

   Output options if new address is not selected in step 2.

   • Bar code data
   • Blank (Do not obtain bar code)
5. If you want to obtain the jukyo code, select Get Jukyo Code.
6. Click Back to return to the Postal Matcher Options window.
