The Table Attribute Filter allows you to open a table and display only those entries that contain a specified attribute. The bottom part of the file tree (under the Attribute Filter folder) displays a complete list of Parser attributes.
Use Attribute Filter
To use attribute filter
- Launch the Parser Tuner.
- Select File > Open Table Attribute Filter. The Select a Word/Pattern Table window opens.
- Select a table and click Open. The table opens. By default, the fist time the Table Attribute Filter is opened, the Parser Tuner will display only those entries that contain the attribute GIVEN-NAME1 (under the Name folder).
- Under the Attribute Filter folder in the Navigation area, double-click the attribute by which you want to filter the table. The Parser Tuner refreshes and only displays table entries that contain that attribute. It also displays all the synonyms for the selected attribute.
Export Attributes
To export attributes
- Complete steps 1 through 4 of the preceding procedure and display table entries filtered by selected attribute.
- Select File > Export Attributes. The Save Customized Definitions As window opens.
- Select the export destination.
- Enter a file name.
- Click Save. The Platform Save Option window opens.
- Select the target platform (Unix or Windows) and click OK. The filtered table entries are saved as an external text file.
