The PNP mask values are used to separate personal names in the personal processing mode. A total of six PNP mask values (pnp_single/multi, pnp_clue_single/multi, pnp_sure_single/multi) can be used in the definitions table.
Note: Customization of token masks is intended for advanced users only. Before you customize
the token masks, you must fully understand the effects of making such changes.
The PNP mask values use the following tokens.
Token | Description |
---|---|
F | First name |
H | Honorific |
L | Last name |
M | Merge with previous token |
P | Title (position) |
S | Space (full-width or half-width) |
X | Unknown PNP token |
* | Wildcard for any token. It cannot be used alone. |
? | Wildcard for 1 token excluding S (space). |
